When we first met Benedikt and Ashlee as the photographers at Michael's sister's wedding, we fell in love with their work. A year later we WERE engaged and throughout all the frenzy of wedding vendor searching we knew that no matter what else happened, we would book with them. I love photography so it was a top priority in wedding planning, and I could easily see that their work is unmatched. Michael and I chose Savannah, GA for our engagement shoot and were so excited to learn that BenAsh travel free of charge! WOW! When we met up with them on the busy River Street, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. We spent the next 2 hours together taking pictures in downtown Savannah and then ventured to Tybee Island for sunset to a perfect spot they had found in advance for us. Michael and I honeslty could not have asked for a more perfect experience taking these images that we will look at for years to come. It truly turned into an adventure we will never forget, all because of Ben & Ashlee. They made us feel so comfortable so quickly, took INCREDIBLE shots and were so personable. We were even able to share dinner with them after the shoot! Ashlee told me we would receive all of our pictures by Janurary 18th and on January 16th I was freaking out as each of the 150 pictures was uploaded online, each perfection in its own right. I was getting compliment after compliment for these pictures and I still could not believe it was us in the pictures- we looked like models! I could go on forever about how incredible this photography duo is, but bottom line- they are 2 people so in love, persuing a passion to capture others' love and committment on film, and they do it to perfection with ease and professionalism that is unmatched. Thank you a million times BenAsh for your incredible work, I can only wait with anticipation for the big day and what you will produce for us then!

Here are a few images from last weekend’s Glory at the Alamo in San Antonio, TX. Our dearly loved friends are adding some serious amazing“ness” to the event—they always do (no matter where they are)! We are so grateful to have met them just a week or two into our move to Texas. Looking back, it’s hard to believe that was almost three years ago. Dozens of dinners and good discussions later—we can honestly say we enjoy every minute we share with them and always look forward to the next time around. Since then (as you can see) their family has grown and Cullen is pure preciousness and he absolutely has our heart.
Also, Grant has taught Benedikt how to make a fire from thin air, how to almost bleed to death via paint-balling, and how to (or how NOT to) shot a riffle.

When Marissa told me that they were considering the location of their engagement session being Savannah, GA, I though to myself "Yes, please!".

It was a picture perfect winter afternoon and the tourists were enjoying their day when we met up with Michael and Marissa on the cobblestone streets of historic Savannah,GA. Christmas was a week away and you could feel it in the air. The four of us got comfortable quickly and together we took advantage of the unique crevices Savannah has to offer. Then we moved on to Tybee Island. WOW, sunset on Tybee Island! I look at these pictures and am awed by love and God's creation! Afterwards we all went to dinner at Churchill's Pub & Restaurant and ate some delicious Irish grub. Getting to know Michael & Marissa better and to experience their love was an uplifting joy.

Michael and Marissa made an extra long experience out of their engagement shoot location and spent the entire weekend in love in Savannah. They know how to do it up big!

And of course we can't wait for their upcoming June wedding at the Mill in Roswell, GA. 

Enjoy the warmth and southern charm of Mike and Camille’s intimate Cartersville wedding.  Their wedding day was a compilation of wonderfulness: Camille. Mike. Love. Cartersville. Doggies. Homemade Peach Preserves. Grand Oaks. Red Roses. Family. Beauty. Laughter.

And more laughter.

Of all the cities I have been attracted to, none can compare with the attachment I have to Cartersville. Maybe it’s because it’s visually beautiful. But I have a strong feeling my attachment is deeper. Cartersville is home to many of those closest to my heart and familiar faces that I can’t seem to keep from hugging—even though it’s 1am at Wal-mart and I’m looking a hot mess.

Mike and Camille’s wedding reminded Ben and I just how much we enjoy Cartersville, and those who call Cartersville home. After their awesome getaway, on our way home, Ben told me how much he appreciated the warmth and love he felt the whole day and I concurred. Then we dreamed about laying down some Quosigk roots there. I guess that’s a testimony to just how wonderful Mike and Camille (and their families) are—when you leave a wedding and you want to be their neighbors.

Camille, you are straight up beautiful and the way Mike loves you is stunning to see.  We are honored to have documented your wedding day. Thank you.

Spending the morning getting to know Josh and Katie and taking romantic pictures made being in Georgia in November all the more sweetly memorable. Their love for each other radiates sunshine beams (consider that a warning … you may need to put on some shades) and we are sooo looking forward to their upcoming May wedding at the beautiful Flint Hill!

Before the wedding festivities we met up at their home and ventured to McAllister Park to capture pieces of love and nature. The precious couple, the natural lighting, and the breeze, were an extraordinary fusion of beauty.

Cit and Michelle had an intimate wedding ceremony followed by a colorful (and delicious) reception at Moroccan Bites (they had this award winning restaurant exclusively).
